A 5-Day, 4-Night Event on Financial Independence

Bali, Indonesia Sept 7 - 11, 2025

This passion project was born out of my love and gratitude for the F.I.R.E. (Financial Independence, Retire Early) movement and community.
This event will empower you to live with more choice and freedom while experiencing the beauty of Bali, and the connection and generosity of the FI community.

The FI Freedom Retreat was nothing short of transformational! Amy went above and beyond to create a unique experience and make everyone feel welcome. What I appreciated most was the focus on meaning and purpose. My experience at the FI Freedom Retreat was truly exceptional. I have been to many CampFI and EconoMe Conference events, so I had a good idea of what an FI event might be like. However, this event was truly extraordinary, Amy hit the ball way out of the park. The attention to every minor detail, the variety and quality of the speakers, and the immersion into the Balinese culture was truly a lifetime experience. I had a wonderful time getting to know some exceptional individuals from all over the world. I made many new friends, in addition to having the opportunity to expand relationships with existing ones. Hi, I’m Amy Minkley!

If you met me three years ago, you would have met a woman who was uptight and constrained around money.

Because of a childhood money wound, I lived that way for years!

Until I stumbled across the FIRE movement while desperately looking for a way to free myself from this prison I was in.

THIS CHANGED EVERYTHING!

I dove into learning about financial independence, and connected with the community at nine FIRE conferences.

I found a group of committed, lit-up people that were welcoming, generous, and alive with possibility.

Look at my investments to make sure they were optimized
Counsel me with compassion around my money fears
Encourage me to keep going with a new mindset of FREEDOM!

My life is forever changed because of the FIRE principles, and especially because of the people in this community.

So I created FI Freedom Retreats, the first FIRE retreat in the Asia-Pacific region!

During the nine FI conferences I attended prior to starting the FI Freedom Retreat, I met lifelong friends and was moved by their generosity and open-heartedness.
